PhD Defense and mini-symposium

It our pleasure to announce that Anjali Jayachandran will defend her phD, entitled

Fundamental physical chemistry of vibrational strong coupling

on September 14th, at 2pm, in ISIS conference room. This work was carried out under the supervision of Thomas Ebbesen and Cyriaque Genet.

On this occasion, there will be a mini-symposium on the chemistry and physics of light-matter interactions on September 15th at 9am, same place. Please find the program here below and the abstracts of the talks in this link.

  • 9:40 – 10:00 What can strong coupling do for organic chemists?, Julia Kalow, Chemistry Department, Northwestern University
  • 10:00 – 10:30 Coffee break
  • 10:30 – 11:10 Tamm modes for the development of laser sources, ClĂ©mentine Symonds, University of Lyon and CNRS
